THE PURPOSE OF TAKING OUR GAP ANALYSIS

Nolan School offers an inexpensive, personalised and highly engaging one-year Subscription Program designed to transform Procurement officers into knowledgeable Procurement specialists. For you to understand the benefits of our Program, and for us to understand your current capabilities at depth, we ask you to submit a response to our Gap Analysis. We will help you visualise where your current salary is in comparison with your peers, and how much you could be earning compared with your current income.

OUR GAP ANALYSIS IS A SOPHISTICATED TOOL

​

Unlike generic salary calculators and simplistic "cookie-cutter" multiple choice tools you commonly find on the Internet, our Gap Analysis © is designed to help you accurately determine whether you currently have marketable entry-level, intermediate, or senior Procurement knowledge. We do not base this on your qualifications, but rather on your responses to our Questionnaire. Our comparative data utilises a combination of payroll and job board data, consultation with regional industry SMEs, and nuanced in-house knowledge to accurately position your current skill set against the Corporate, Oil & Gas, Government, Academic, and NGO sectors.

ANALYSIS STRUCTURE

​

Our Gap Analysis is constructed in the form of six questions, designed to evaluate your knowledge of Procurement as well as capability factors, including your foundation skills such as comprehension and numeracy. There is no pass / fail mark. Every Learner has different strengths and challenges. The Analysis transcends correct / incorrect responses and is designed to examine your nuanced understanding about Procurement, as required to successfully navigate a Procurement job interview.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU

​

It takes approximately two hours for Learners to complete the Gap Analysis. The Analysis is designed to be undertaken on a PC / laptop, not on a mobile phone. You will need access to Microsoft Excel to work out the answer to one of our questions. We ask you not to use a search engine or ChatGPT as it defeats the purpose of this Analysis, which is to accurately determine your level of capability.

TURNAROUND TIME AND WHAT WE GIVE YOU

​

We will acknowledge receipt of your submission by email. Please allow ten business days for us to provide you with a considered result. You will receive:

• Results from your submission, along with suggested responses to each question.

• Our personalised salary projections for you, based on your capabilities, current salary (if you are employed), your industry sector, and your region.

• An opportunity to discuss your results with Nolan in a 45-minute Zoom meeting.
